ITI Announces interfaces for Docview and CarFAX:

ITI now has free interfaces for Docview and CarFAX, available for all Enterprise RMS clients. These interfaces provide the following functionality:

• Allow client agencies to automatically send completed accident reports to Docview via a secure transmission directly from their ITI RMS system on a daily basis. Only accident information is included. Docview then manages the sale of accident reports to the involved parties and handles the collection of associated fees. By adding a $ 6.00 convenience fee, Docview is able to remit to the agency the full amount that they normally charge for accident reports. Measures are taken to ensure that only involved parties or their insurance providers are able to purchase reports. This service eliminates the time consuming task of processing requests for accident reports.
  Through an agreement with CARFAX, Inc., Docview forwards vehicle specific information on the vehicles involved to CARFAX. No person information is included in this data sharing.
• Free inquiries into the Docview system: Docview’s nation-wide system has a wealth of information on persons involved in accidents. Information in the Docview system has helped law enforcement agencies make fugitive arrests on violent criminals who could not be located through other means.
• Free inquiries into the CARFAX system: By VIN, your officers can retrieve full vehicle histories.

ITI is the only vendor to have integrated the above inquires into their Records Management software. Inquiries into the ITI system are automatically sent to the Docview and CarFAX systems as well as ITI’s Regional Data Sharing system if in use. This allows officers to search multiple systems with a single inquiry.
